My feline series was awarded first in the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards.
All endangered sanctuary felines were photographed in a large studio setting. Images are shown in order of cat's size, the tiger is the largest, lion second only to the lion followed by the smallest but fastest land animal, the cheetah.
In these photographic studies, you will notice the tiger and cheetah lift both limbs on the same side together in these photos, while the lion’s gait is opposite. The cheetah doesn’t roar like other big cats. They growl or vocalize with sounds more equivalent to a high-pitched chirp or bubble.
